Ahmelie is an artist from Houston, Texas, and grew up reading scary stories about what lurks in the bayou. With French/Tunisian roots, she pulls inspiration from her cultural identity and the stories of her family. She has a background in classical voice and opera, which taught her how to be tastefully dramatic. Now based in New York, Ahmelie writes songs in her bathtub about fairy tales, historical figures, geographical phenomena, and growing pains.
