FallBright is a ambient post-hardcore band formed in 2021 by Derrick Murray and Tim Forrester, who first met in the Maryland band Remember The City back in 2009. Their natural musical chemistry quickly led them to form Bella Versa, where they spent three years creating and performing before life took them in different directions, focusing on careers and family.
A decade later, the two reconnected, reigniting their shared passion for music. With the addition of Jared Miller, a seasoned drummer from the local cover band circuit, the trio began crafting original material and recorded three powerful singles with producer and engineer Matt McClellan (Being As An Ocean, Loathe, The Devil Wears Prada) in 2023.
In 2023 and 2024, FallBright shared the stage with national acts such as Zao, Tiny Moving Parts, Escuela Grind, and Jason Richardson, gaining recognition for their dynamic live performances and emotive sound.
Lyrically and musically, FallBright takes listeners on a journey shaped by brotherhood, love, pain, faith, loss, strength, redemption, and family. Drawing inspiration from cinema, art, pop culture, and the triumphs and struggles of the human experience, FallBright’s music resonates with those who seek depth, raw emotion, and connection through their sonic exploration.
