About me
Chris is a professional guitarist, recording engineer, and educator, based in Lancaster, PA. As a musician, he has recorded or performed with a wide variety of national and international artists and groups over the past 20 years. In addition to guitar, he is also an oudist, and has been fortunate to work with such players as Rahim Alhaj, Aliya Cycon, and even the governments of the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. In addition, he has also played for various musical theaters in the northeast US, including Lancaster favorites the Fulton Theater and American Music Theater.
A graduate of Lebanon Valley College with a degree in music and recording, Chris has been an independent engineer for two decades, working with a number of established studios in central PA. Since 2020, he has worked with the team at IMMG Studios as a mixing and mastering engineer, specializing in immersive formats such as Atmos.
In addition to that work, Chris is also an educator, and has been teaching guitar and recording, both collegiately and independently, since 2004. He is currently the head of guitar studies at Franklin & Marshall and Lancaster Bible colleges as well as teaching the recording program at York College.
